Night Cap ("the app") is a nightlife discovery tool showing bars, breweries, and similar venues in the Placer and Sacramento County area, along with recurring events like trivia, karaoke, and live music. You can browse without an account, or create one to save and manage "Build a Night" plans across devices.
The app describes venues that serve alcohol. You must be 21 years of age or older to use it. By continuing past the age-verification screen, you confirm you meet this requirement. See our Age Policy for how this is handled.
Venue hours, events, cover charges, and other details are gathered from public sources and periodic verification, but may be outdated or inaccurate. We do not guarantee real-time accuracy of any listing — always confirm details (especially cover charges and event timing) directly with the venue before visiting.
You're responsible for keeping your password confidential. You can delete your account and all associated saved plans at any time from the account menu.
Don't use the app to submit false, harmful, or abusive content (including in plan labels or display names), attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or interfere with the app's normal operation.
Saved plans can generate a link that lets anyone with the link view that plan. Don't include personal or sensitive information in a plan label if you don't want it visible to whoever you share the link with.
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date above when that happens.
